    Shampoo hair & towel-dry. Wearing gloves, apply mask to the hair & comb through. Leave on for approximately 5 to 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

Do I need to patch test before using Re:Fresh?

Yes. We recommend carrying out a patch test 48 hours before using our Re:Fresh Colour Bond Mask. Apply a small amount to clean skin behind your ear or the inner side of your forearm and leave uncovered for 45 minutes. If no reaction occurs, rinse with water and leave for 48 hours before proceeding with the full application. However, if you notice any redness, itching, swelling or irritation, rinse immediately and do not use the product. Consult a medical professional. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin.

How do I perform a strand test?

Apply the mask to a small, hidden section of clean, towel-dried hair. Leave on for the recommended time, then rinse and dry to check the colour result. This helps you understand the final tone and intensity before full application.

What is the dye pigment in each mask?

These groundbreaking Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks have a unique blend of semi-permanent dyes to create the perfect tone suitable for a wide range of hair types.

How long will the colour element last?

The unique blend of semi-permanent dyes will enhance the colour of hair for a minimum of three washes. This will of course vary between clients, and will depend on hair types and colour intensity achieved.

Can it be used every time I wash my hair?

Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks not only help repair hair from the inside, leaving it healthy, shiny and strong, but contain a unique blend of semi-permanent dyes to enhance colour. Frequent use, such as every time the hair is washed, is not recommended as depositing colour with every wash is not advised.

Should I use my normal conditioner as well as this?

Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks have been created to give your hair an intensive conditioning and bonding treatment that nourishes, moisturizes and strengthens the hair. It is not necessary to use a regular conditioner beforehand, and these masks should be applied directly after shampooing.

Can these masks be used to pre-pigment the hair when going from light to dark?

As these innovative Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks contain a unique blend of semi-permanent dyes, the colour deposit will eventually wash out and affect the end colour result. Whether or not it is right to use then as a pre-pigment will depend on the client and what they are looking for.

Can it be used on Keratin or colour-treated hair?

Yes, it is completely safe to use these Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks on hair that has had a Keratin treatment or is pre-coloured.

How long might I need to wait to use it after a new keratin treatment?

There is no need to wait to use these Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks after a new Keratin treatment, they can be used from first permitted wash.

Can it be used on hair extensions?

There is no reason why Re:Fresh Colour Bond masks can’t be used on hair extensions to give them an intensive bonding treatment with a blend of colour, however whilst they will make natural hair extensions took as beautiful as your own hair, artificial hair extensions will not be affected by the masks.

Is it safe to use during pregnancy?

These natural Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks are safe to use during pregnancy, however sensitivities can change during this time which is why we always recommend a patch test 48hrs before use.

Can the Clay:Additive be mixed in to thicken and separate when doing a creative placement with different colours instead of foil?

The new Clay:Additive for freehand techniques can be mixed into these Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks to give other application and colour technique options in-salon, but colour deposition may be affected. This will vary between client.

Can Personalisation Drops be added into the masks for additional benefits for an in-salon treatment?

An enhanced salon spa service can be offered in conjunction with Re:Fresh Colour Bond Masks with the addition of FFØR’s Personalisation Drops.
