What is conditioning water?

FFØR’s new The Liquid is a natural rinse-out liquid conditioning hair treatment in the form of liquid-like water. Working fast to visibly transform your hair, the lightweight water-like liquid spreads throughout hair quickly making it appear smooth, shiny, and healthy-looking within seconds.

How much do I use?

As with all hair treatments, those with shorter hair should not need to use as much of the product as those with longer hair. Likewise, if your hair is in good, healthy condition to begin with only a small amount of the product may be required. We would recommend always applying to wet hair from the mid-lengths down avoiding the scalp. Once you feel the hair is covered you may feel a slight warming sensation as the product activates. Massage for 8 seconds and rinse out.

How is this different to using a cream conditioner?

At FFØR we love to create products that give you multiple benefits and The Liquid is no exception. Focusing on glossing your hair, it works differently from a normal cream conditioner to produce the end result. Hair after shampooing has a negative charge, especially in the more damaged areas. With our water treatment, the positively charged conditioning agents pull the moisturising oils, conditioning ingredients, and oat peptide to the negatively charged surface of the hair. The liquid components allow for enhanced absorption of the conditioning ingredients within seconds resulting in soft, silky shiny hair.

Is this suitable for all hair types?

The Liquid is suitable for all hair types from fine to curly. It is also an exceptional treatment option for dry or frizzy hair. The water-based silicone-free formula will not build up on hair and has a weightless feel even on hair that’s ultra-fine.

How frequently should I use this product?

The Liquid is a rinse-out hair treatment that we recommend is used 1-2 times per week after shampooing (depending on hair type, condition and how frequently you wash your hair).

Do I still need to use a normal, cream conditioner with this product?

While many hair treatments are meant to be used in place of your conditioner, that isn’t necessarily the case with The Liquid. You can choose to skip a cream conditioner, or if you feel your hair is extra thirsty, you can follow up with the conditioner.

Step #1: Shampoo as Usual: Start with shampooing your hair as usual. Massage it onto wet hair, lather, and rinse out completely. Move on to the next step—using the conditioning water treatment.

Step #2: Apply The Liquid: After rinsing out the shampoo, it’s time to use The Liquid Conditioning Water. Squeeze excess water from your hair, and apply the liquid onto wet hair, coating it completely from mid-length to ends. Massage through hair for about eight seconds. During this time, you may notice the liquid warming up as the formula comes in contact with water – don’t worry as that means it’s working! After you’ve fully massaged your strands (for eight seconds), rinse it out, making sure to avoid contact with your eyes. Quick and simple!

How much you need to use will depend on your hair texture and length. If you have short or medium to fine hair, you won’t need as much product as someone with long or thick to curly hair. Likewise, if your hair is very dry, you may find you need to use a little more than if your hair is less dry.

Step #3 (optional): Follow with Conditioner: While many hair masks and treatments are meant to be used in place of your conditioner, this isn’t necessarily the case with The Liquid. You can jump out of the shower after using it or if you feel your hair may need it, follow up with conditioner. If your hair needs some extra deep conditioning, try Re:Plenish Conditioning Mask, otherwise, your normal FFØR cream conditioner can be used.

Step #4: Blow-Dry Hair: Blow dry your hair to really show off the amazing transformative results from using The Liquid.
